I am Gurvinderpal, the volunteer community manager at Solar Sipper and I am CHANGING THE WORLD.  Yes, I am saving the planet by lowering the price of solar for everyone. The #1 reason that solar has not taken off like a rocket, and only .2% of homeowners are using Solar Energy instead of unsustainable and dirty fossil fuels is MONEY.

I need your help to save the world by lowering the price of solar! Our ozone layer cannot handle the drastic depreciation of matter that is occurring for much longer without having permanent effects that we have yet to fully feel on planet earth.

We need people to spread the word that you can save about 15-25% off the rock bottom price quoted by a solar install company by installing as part of a group.  The price quoted to you direct by a solar company requires the necessary elements of running a business to be covered by the entities’ customers, such as labor, equipment, training, employee benefits, insurance and a profit margin for the owner.  Business is the pillar of strength for the United States, and we love entrepreneurship too, but not at the expense of the environment, because in the solar industry, the price of panels is so high that more than half the cost of the installs is the price of obtaining the panels.  The solar companies are not at fault, it is the distributors, the middle men, and the costs of getting the panels to the US from Asia, technology is dropping prices, but the environment cannot wait!

The reality is panel materials and primarily the solar cells are mass produced in enormous quantities, and there are way too many hands in your wallet.  95% of panels are made in China.  If you buy solar as a group with a massive group discount, you become a solution to this problem, take a step closer to solving it, protect the environment AND save on average $.75-$1.50 per watt, which equals $3,000-$6,000 gross off the average 4kW system installed by someone with a $200 utility bill.  With the buying leverage of even 5 homeowners, the price drops on average 10% below the lowest price a company can offer for a 5kW residential solar install.  The more members of your group, the more you save!

ALL solar companies are invited to bid and participate.  Competition equals savings for the consumer and years of positive word of mouth referrals for the company.
